Direct mail strategy steers statewide education program
Sire developed a strategic direct mail campaign to increase participation in the Economics Pennsylvania programs.
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – When you have a target audience of thousands, how do you reach them cost-effectively with your marketing message? Sire Advertising partnered with EconomicsPennsylvania to develop a streamlined direct mail campaign strategy to increase awareness and participation of K-12 students, educators, and administrators in the organization’s annual Stock Market Game workshops and educational programs.
One of the primary objectives of the campaign was to reach the program’s target audiences on a statewide level to encourage early registrations by offering a special discount. From start to finish, Sire was instrumental in the planning of the details and timing of the campaign as well as the creative strategy featuring a series of custom postcards that were distributed to educators in targeted geographic areas of the Commonwealth. Sire also developed a postcard that was distributed to administrators to promote participation among school districts.
By incorporating the organization’s logo and established colors, the new promotional materials strengthened the program’s overall professionalism and branding. After the first wave was distributed for the fall semester, EconomicsPennsylvania leadership reported positive feedback on the new promotional materials and an increase in the number of registered participants for the upcoming 2010-2011 school term. Sire is currently updating the campaign for the spring program.
