Sire Golf Marathons surpass $20,000

SELINSGROVE, PA—The Fourth Annual Sire Advertising Youth Foundation Golf Marathon raised $4,687 to benefit the Selinsgrove Community Library and the Susquehanna Valley Preschool, two organizations dedicated to helping children in the Susquehanna Valley through their enriching programs and services.

This year more than 60 individuals and businesses sponsored Mr. Shawn Felty, President of Sire Advertising, on June 27, when he played 144 holes of golf at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club to raise funds for the two aforementioned organizations.

With this year’s total, the Sire Advertising Youth Foundation Golf Marathons have raised more than $20,000 in four years to support local organizations dedicated to helping young people in the region.

"I would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has supported the Sire Golf Marathons," said Felty. "All of the proceeds from these special events have directly benefited youth-oriented organizations in our area. Surpassing $20,000 is a special milestone and knowing the funds are helping to improve the lives of children here in the Susquehanna Valley is a great feeling."
