Sire embarks on creative partnership with DCDC

Incorporating DCDC’s new logo and design scheme, Sire developed outdoor signs for both of the organization’s locations.

Danville, PA—A truly a unique choice for childcare and pre-school education services, Danville Child Development Center (DCDC) partnered with Sire Advertising to help spread the word about the organizationís award-winning programs through an integrated marketing campaign.

Beginning with logo development, the marketing strategy aimed to lend a fresh look to an organization that has been serving the Susquehanna Valley for nearly 40 years. After meeting with DCDC staff, the Sire team developed an imaginative lineup of logos. The adopted design highlights the acronym DCDC and is accompanied by a seedpod in bloom, a metaphor for child development that creatively embodies DCDCís mission for cultivating wonder.

Following the launch of the logo, Sire created a banner for the grand opening of the new DCDC facility as well as a full stationery package including business cards, thank you cards, letterhead, and envelopes, all of which integrated the new DCDC brand identity.

Sire recently launched, a cornerstone of the organization's marketing strategy.

A cornerstone of the new marketing program, the organizationís new Web site,, was recently launched. Hosting a wealth of service information and resources for parents and donors alike, the new site visually captures the user and provides easy access to the siteís major content areas. Built with a WordPress content management system (CMS) tool, nearly all areas of the site can be simply maintained by DCDC staff. The News & Events section allows users to find recent press releases and upcoming events, both of which are easy to update with the CMS tool. Sire also incorporated a "Like" button that links users to the DCDC Facebook page. Forms are linked throughout the site to enable visitors to easily contact the Center for more information or to schedule a tour. The photo gallery is a great way for the organization to illustrate the real-life excitement sparked by their programs. A Google map was also added to the Contact page to help visitors locate both locations and get directions.

Incorporating DCDCís new logo and design scheme, Sire also developed outdoor signs for both of the organizationís locations. Additional initiatives, including and advertising campaign, are underway with plans to launch in 2012.
