LEWISBURG, Pa. – With the charitable support of more than 45 sponsors, including clients, colleagues, and friends, Shawn Felty, President of Sire Advertising, was able to raise over $3,000 for the 2007 Albright Care Services Golf Challenge: 91 Holes for 91 Years.

“I would like to thank the all those who have supported me,” said Felty. “Without your generous donations it wouldn’t have been possible.”

Held at Bucknell Golf Club on May 21, the event raised over $81,000 for Albright’s Benevolent Care Fund, and marked 91 years in which Albright has never had to ask a resident to leave a facility due to inability to pay. To commemorate this terrific feat and raise money for future years, Albright hosts this yearly golf tournament supporting its local elder communities, which include Normandie Ridge, York, PA; RiverWoods, Lewisburg, PA; and Warrior Run Manor, Watsontown, PA.

The 2007 Challenge was made possible due to the help of 52 golfers and 20 volunteers. Those interested in making a donation to Albright’s Benevolent Care Fund can visit the organization’s Web sire and click on the Ways to Donate link.
