All is Normal press junket creates national buzz
Lewisburg—In early July, Sire Advertising teamed with Lewisburg-based filmmakers Juliana Brafa and Todd Beiber of Flexible Frame Productions to promote the company’s newest film All is Normal.
After veteran actress Linda Blair (The Exorcist) signed to star in Flexible Frame Productions’ upcoming psychological thriller, All is Normal, Sire immediately developed a marketing strategy, which included the coordination of a press kit and press junket to publicize the film. The strategy was based largely on the pedigree of Linda Blair, and aimed to create hype in the local community through media involvement.
Prior to the event, Sire mailed invitations to the media and followed up with an e-mail reminder. The All is Normal press kit included Character Profiles, About the Filmmakers, Reviews, and Sneak Peek (a fascinating fact sheet about the cast and crew of All is Normal). VIP passes were also designed and distributed to media representatives who were given an exclusive invitation to the junket.
Held the last day of filming, the press event spurred interest among local media, and news of the film even spread across the nation. A number of area newspapers and radio and television stations attended the event. In fact, the Associated Press picked up the story and it was published in over 70 newspapers nationwide including the Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, Houston Chronicle, Newsday, and more!
Flexible Frame Productions plans to premier All is Normal in the 2005-2006 film circuit. Sire looks forward to working with filmmakers as they gear up for upcoming festivals and seek innovative ways to market the film.
