Sire develops Web application for Brodart

McElhattan—Specifically designed to simplify the furniture specification process, Sire Advertising recently developed a custom Web-based application for Brodart Contract Furniture.

After reviewing all aspects of Brodart’s previous specification process, Sire suggested the development of the Furniture Specification Builder System (FSBS), an online application that would electronically generate reports, without the hassles of manually specifying a project.

With the help of this new software, Brodart dealers and architects can now design fully detailed furniture layouts based on client needs, determine the exact quantities needed for specific facility layouts, devise efficient shipping schedules on a per-project basis, and access up-to-the-minute project status reports. The program incorporates more than 3,000 products and is a great way for dealers to stay up to date with Brodart’s newest product offerings.

As part of Brodart’s strategic marketing plan, Sire developed the FSBS to be launched in conjunction with the company’s newly designed Web site, www.brodartfurniture.com. Dealers and other registered users can access the application directly via the site’s homepage through a password protected dealer log in area. From this point, users enter desired product numbers and specifications for the entire project are generated.

“From start to finish, this application has saved our dealers a considerable amount of time. Prior to having this software, we relied on a spec book or PDF printouts, which resulted in a lengthy process,” said Brodart’s Marketing Director Chris Frantz.
