Pro bono work builds Heiter Center identity

Lewisburg, PA—Sire Advertising has recently partnered with The Donald L. Heiter Community Center on the development of a marketing strategy geared toward increasing public awareness and support of the Center.

Working with other local organizations, the Heiter Center was established to provide services for the children of Lewisburg and surrounding communities. The Center hosts educational and recreational activities that promote community involvement not only for the youth of the community, but to enhance the community as a whole.

After meeting with key representatives from the Center, Sire constructed a three-phase marketing outline that began with identity development. Offered to the Center as a pro bono project, the logo was of primary importance to the marketing program. The fundamental goal of the logo would be to increase the Center’s overall identity while reinforcing the valuable bond the Center has formed with the children and teens within the Lewisburg community.

With this mission in mind, the tagline “A Light in the Center of Town” was established and used in conjunction with the logo. The Center offers a variety of after-school programs and trips, which play an important part in the lives of the community’s children. Similarly, the Center represents a “light” of opportunities and positive experiences. Shades of hunter green were incorporated to complement the color of the facility while an abstract combination of dynamic shapes merge to denote a youth in action.

Plans are underway to move forward with additional Heiter Center marketing components as the year progresses.
