Sire lands It’s Just Lunch account

Lewisburg—Sire Advertising recently teamed with It’s Just Lunch Central Pennsylvania, a dating service for busy professionals, to develop a yearlong marketing strategy, which includes media placement across the region.

It’s Just Lunch Central Pennsylvania, the regional branch of the San Diego-based worldwide corporation, was established in 1991 in Chicago and now has locations everywhere from New York to Singapore. It’s Just Lunch was founded on the premise that professionals live fast-paced lives that leave little time for dating, and has attracted millions of singles who are looking for a stress-free dating.

Targeting the Harrisburg and Lewisburg markets, the It’s Just Lunch Central PA media plan includes placement of ads throughout the Central Pennsylvania Region in both traditional newspapers and in alternative publications such as Harrisburg’s The Fly Magazine. In addition to the media mix, Sire suggested different radio outlets to reach the company’s large geographic area. To complement radio spots, Sire also arranged live promotions that give listeners a chance to tell their “worst dating experience” in exchange for complementary dates.

To complete the first phase of the marketing plan, Sire incorporated billboards in strategic locations to reinforce print and radio efforts. Sire hopes these initiatives will build It’s Just Lunch’s overall awareness and allow us to begin the second phase of the media campaign.
