Keystone Potato Products grows on-line presence
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Sire Advertising recently launched a fresh Web site for Keystone Potato Products at the same time the Hegins-based potato processor is nearing completion of a major new expansion. Building on the company’s original Web splash page, keystonepotato.com now features a crisp design that is appealing to the eye and easy to navigate.
The homepage serves as a powerful new marketing tool and educational resource, with links to consumer resources such as the Pennsylvania Co-Operative Potato Growers and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Web sites.
As one of the industry’s most advanced potato processors, Keystone’s high quality, nutritious potato products are prominently featured throughout the site, including a preview of the new fresh cut potato line of french fries and diced, quartered, and whole peel potatoes.
The second phase of the site development included content management applications to enable Keystone’s staff to make updates to designated sections of the site at their convenience. This feature allows Keystone’s staff to post announcements and photos in the News section of the site, as well as post current job openings in the Employment section, where site visitors can download an employment application.
To create an interactive feature on the site, an educational video was added to highlight the company’s commitment to delivering quality products and prompt service.
