Masser e-newsletter educates and promotes
Sacramento, PA—In an effort to renew enthusiasm for potatoes and encourage consumers to invite the traditional American staple into their diets, Sire Advertising initiated Sterman Masser Potato Farm’s first-ever e-mail newsletter: An Eye on Potatoes.
The premier newsletter was launched in March. Following the positive response of the first edition, a second was planned and forwarded last evening. To recognize the company’s 35-year anniversary, Sire suggested the development of a logo, which was incorporated in the masthead of the recent newsletter.
A portion of the newsletters typically focuses on creative potato recipes while other sections are constantly changing with fresh potato-related news and information. For example, a popular feature in the most recent newsletter suggests potatoes can be used as a spa treatment to enhance your facial completion.
An Eye on Potatoes has been a great way for Masser’s to communicate with potato consumers and announce new products like the Penn State Blue Denim potatoes and Masser’s individually wrapped Bakeables and Sweet Bakeables. The newsletter also includes links to the company’s Web site www.masserspuds.com where users can easily locate additional information or potato recipes.
