A clear direction for the Center for Skin Health
LewisburgOne of Central Pennsylvania's leading authorities
on skin care, the Lewisburg-based Center for Skin Health has, in
a relatively short period of time, earned a client roster made up
of patients from throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Having built its growing
customer base primarily through word of mouth, and prepared to further
expand its audience, the Center found itself in mid-2003 ready for
a full-blown identity package and promotional campaign.
After
becoming familiar with the Center for Skin Health's holistic approach
to skin care, Sire Advertising began work on the creation of a logo
which would succinctly represent the Center's commitment to its
patients' health, confidence, and overall well-being. Tone and color
choice were imperative, as a color scheme needed to be established
that promoted the possibility of rejuvenating one's self through
proper care and product use. After establishing an effective logo
direction, Sire presented the Center with a number of appropriate
options, one of which was chosen as the centerpiece of the Center's
new marketing strategy.
Once the new Center for Skin Health logo was finalized, Sire began
work on what had been determined by the Center to be its most immediate
needthe development of a quarterly Center for Skin Health
newsletter. With creative options wide open, Sire decided on a magazine-style
approach to what has become the Center's main promotional avenue
at this juncturethe aptly titled Clearly You.
Launched in late July, Clearly You contains articles on
up-to-the-moment skin care issues, details on the industry's newest
products, and helpful hints on what can be done to keep skin healthy
and youthful-looking. In addition, Clearly You has proven
to be an effective vehicle for money-saving coupons which correspond
to featured products. Each seasonal issue will also include an article
written by Center founder Dr. Ernest Normington.
