SU basketball camp shoots for new image

Selinsgrove—One of Central Pennsylvania's most popular summer basketball programs, Susquehanna Valley Basketball Camp each year attracts the Mid-Atlantic's most talented junior players to the beautiful campus of Susquehanna University. As of 2002, however, the camp's marketing materials had been virtually unchanged since the early '80s. A complete image revamp was long overdue.

After consulting with Camp Director and Crusader Head Coach Frank Marcinek and determining an appropriate project scope and direction, Sire Advertising began work on a new SVBC logo which would generate new enthusiasm for the camp and convey the level of quality instruction campers can expect from the Marcinek and his experienced staff of basketball players and coaches. Exciting in appearance and especially useful in that it naturally ties in with existing SU athletic promotional materials, the new logo is designed to be used in an array of capacities including the camp’s new full-color brochure, created by Sire Advertising to replace an outdated tri-fold used in previous years. Additional promotional components will include a print campaign and camp t-shirts.
