
Shamokin Area Community Hospital
In an effort to revitalize hospital awareness and bring attention
to a number of key departments, Sire Advertising began its 2003
Shamokin Area Community Hospital campaign with a series of newspaper
ads revolving around a new theme—“It’s Nice to
Know the Choice is Yours”—and a new approach to regional
healthcare marketing. By focusing on departments within the hospital
of particular interest to local community members rather than presenting
the hospital as an outlet for one’s entire spectrum of healthcare
needs, Sire was able to showcase the hospital’s main areas
of expertise in a uniquely favorable light. From there, print ads
were joined by a coinciding broadcast
campaign and a new billboard package.
