Sterman Masser Potato Farms

Through 2005, Sire Advertising has continued to offer packaging design and other marketing and advertising services to Sterman Masser Potato Farms. Among recent projects was the packaging
for the Penn State Blue Denim potatoes, which were marketed around the region year-round,
cross promoting Penn State Football and Masser Potatoes. Sire suggested co-branding to
coincide with the use of potatoes for potato salad and other potato recipes that are popular
during the region’s “tailgating” season. Another popular product release was the introduction
of Masser’s Sweet Bakeables, a single microwavable sweet potato. Sire developed packaging
for the Sweet Bakeables, which included the potato labels for various grocery stores and a point-
of-purchase box.

In addition to packaging, Sire also developed the company’s first-ever e-newsletter, which reaches the inbox of more than 1,000 consumers. The newsletter, An Eye on Potatoes, features recipes, new product releases, and other potato-related news. Sire also designed three trade show banners to be used at upcoming trade shows and conferences.
