Sunbury Community Hospital

Sire Advertising continued its relationship with Sunbury Community Hospital into 2005. During
this time, a variety of physician ads were developed to promote the Hospital’s relationship with
the community. Many doctors lived in the Susquehanna Valley, attended medical school, and returned to their hometown to serve the local community through their work at the Hospital.
This personalized approach was incorporated into the ads, and quotations from the doctors
were also featured.

Also completed during 2005, the Hospital’s annual report was developed by Sire. The theme “Embracing the Changing Faces of Healthcare” was carried throughout the report. Along with financial information, a timeline was included, the Hospital’s plans for future advancements, and happenings throughout the year.

To promote one medical practice, Sire also suggested the development of a dye-cut postcard shaped like a doctor’s bag to be inserted into the local newspaper. Included on the card was
a cross promotion with an area coffee shop that rewarded new patients with a free offer.
