Los Angeles Public Library

In 2006, Sire Advertising assisted the Los Angeles Public Library in its Hot Off The Press campaign designed to promote the release of the library’s newest books. The campaign was first given an identity with the development of a dynamic logo featuring three colorful books in flight. The new logo and accompanying color scheme provided consistency throughout the various marketing materials involved in the campaign. Also part of the effort was a promotional bookmark distributed to patrons at check out in order to spread the word about the new program. On the reverse side, bookmarks featured circulation and program details. In addition to the bookmark, book strips were designed for placement on the spine of all Hot Off The Press books. Sire also created a poster to be displayed in the library directing traffic to the designated Hot Off The Press book section.
