Susquehanna University

Sire Advertising has long served Susquehanna University in a number of agency capacities. Sire has designed the Continuing Education bulletin, Susquehanna Valley Basketball Camp brochures and Web site, Leadership Institute for Entrepreneurship (LIFE) brochure, and the Development Office’s direct mail campaign.

Since 2002, Sire has designed Susquehanna University’s Office of Continuing Education bulletin and ad campaigns. Utilized to promote Spring and Fall offerings, the bulletin is an important resource for locating course information including availability, dates, times and more. To introduce these offerings to potential students, Sire designed an ad campaign, which was placed in newspapers across the region.

Sire also redesigned the Susquehanna Valley Basketball Camp Web site and brochure to market the organization’s three weekend camps and one-week team camp. In keeping with the camp’s logo color scheme, the new series incorporated orange with yellow and maroon accents and featured an array of photos of past campers in action.

In addition, Sire designed the LIFE brochure to promote this unique camp for future entrepreneurs. Created to appeal to high-school students considering a career in business, the LIFE brochure outlined program specifics and included student testimonials and application details.

To entice current students and alumni to give back to Susquehanna, Sire put an unconventional twist to the traditional thank you gift concept. Sire’s design consisted of a hamburger cutout and allowed donors to earn the chance to have a sandwich named after them. Not everyone will have the opportunity to have a building named after them. For these people, Sire’s concept offered an alternative approach.
