Feaster featured in Penn College Publication
Williamsport, PA—The Robert Feaster Corp. was recently featured in the Spring 2005 edition of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s publication One College Avenue for the firm’s successful completion of renovations to the Klump Academic Center.
At the center of the renovation was the restoration of the building’s brick and stone façade and interior alterations including the addition of drop ceilings and new flooring. Since the Klump Center is an historical building, special attention was directed toward maintaining the character of the building while enhancing the Center’s already established character.
As a graduate of Penn College’s predecessor, Williamsport Area Community College, Feaster expressed the pleasure he experienced contributing to the College’s growth through the renovation of this historical center.
“I took ten classes in that building,” Feaster said. “From a personal standpoint, I was proud we got that project and proud to be a part of the renovation.”
The article recognized Feaster’s unique tie to and continued interest in the College as well as the firm’s quality of workmanship and strict adherence to budget and the project completion schedule.
As the renovations took place, it was necessary for the building to remain occupied by students and faculty. Even though this typically slows down the process, the Robert Feaster Corp. was able complete the renovations seven months ahead of schedule.
“Overall, from the students through the faculty to the administration, the architect and the contractors, it was just a grand effort of all parties, and that’s what made it a successful project,” Feaster said. “The Center is something we’re going to be proud of.”
The Robert Feaster Corp.’s areas of expertise include institutional, industrial, and commercial projects with a strong presence in the educational, healthcare, and government fields. For more information on the Robert Feaster Corp. call (570) 473-8625 today.
